Treefrog celebrated its third birthday on September 7th, 2021, in the presence of Patrick Amoussou-Adéblé, secretary general for regional affairs at the Nouvelle-Aquitaine prefecture, and Alain Rousset, president of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
CEO Frederic Desdouits announced a 2-fold increase in clean room capacity – for the development and bioproduction of cell therapies derived from pluripotent stem cells – and the opening of a second building in Pessac to support company growth.
Following it recent €64M Series B financing round, Treefrog received € 3.5M of additional non-dilutive funding from Bpifrance (Deeptech program), the French General Secretariat for Investment, and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
TreeFrog Therapeutics is receiving funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program through the SME Instrument Phase 2 under grant agreement n° SME 881113.
