Listed in the Top 1% of the most cited neuroscientists, he is mainly known for his work on Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.


Laurent Cognet, PhD

CNRS Research Director and PI in nano-biophotonics at the LP2N in Bordeaux, Laurent co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles over the past 20 years. As a physicist interested in innovations for biology, he was awarded for his achievements in single molecule detection, nanoscience, super-resolution microscopy for neuroscience and oncology.


Pierre Nassoy, PhD

CRNS Research Director, PI in Bioimaging & Optofluidics at the LP2N in Bordeaux, Pierre supervised the PhD thesis of Kevin (TreeFrog’s CTO). Expert in cell biophysics, he designed with Kevin the cell encapsulation process used by the C-Stem™ technology and validated the approach for growing cancer cells in 3 dimensions.
